How to Delete Media when Permanently Deleting Post Type Records

In Smart Manager, when you permanently delete record(s), you can also delete media that is exclusively attached to that record.

Follow the below steps:

  1. Go to Settings (click on gear icon) on top right corner.
  2. Check Delete media when permanently deleting post type records checkbox.
  3. Click on Save.
  4. Select any dashboard from the drop-down. (For example, Products).
  5. Select multiple records or all records for that post-type/taxonomy. You can also apply search filters to filter records and select all the filtered records to perform the delete operation.
  6. Clicking ‘Delete Permanently’ will now not only permanently delete the selected record(s) but also remove any media exclusively associated with it.

Note: Delete media when permanently deleting post type records is available in Smart Manager Pro version only.
